The KNVB has invited ETG/AAWS to execute studies for Dutch football clubs eager to lower their energy cost and reduce the dependency on gas for water-heating activities. The KNVB arrived at this decision after taking notice of the results of a ‘Quickscan’ energy study that was executed by ETG/AAWS. The study focused on the energy household of a football clubs and we produced a ‘Routemap’ for that club defining integrated measures to lower the dependency on gas and electricity for heating purposes. We explained convincingly how clubs can lower the energy bill with thousands of euro’s/yearly basis if proper measures are taken. Coming year we will be executing similar type of Quickscan studies for a number of football clubs in the Netherlands and based on the outcome of those studies we will propose measures lowering the energy bill for these clubs substantially.
