RainCAP’s installed in Kenya

Five RainCAP’s were installed with an adjoining water shop. On the sites rain water is captured in the RainCAP’s during the rainy season. From there it will be pumped up, filtered through  a UV WaterBox making it safe and clean to drink for human beings.

The schoolchildren are offered free drinks. People living in the surrounding villages are able to buy the water for a limited price in the Water shop.

A local entrepreneur will take care of operating the the RainCAP site, the Watershop  and thus earn a living by selling the water.
