WaterPyramid located between Delft and Rotterdam
September 2007
The TU Delft is celebrating its 165th anniversary, focusing on “Sustainability and Africa”. In that perspective the inventers of the WaterPyramid, former students of the TU, were invited to locate a WaterPyramid in the pastures around the University. The WaterPyramid is an innovative solution, designed by TU Delft engineers, for the pressing water problems in Africa.
The project has been generously supported by Evides Waterbedrijf, one of the major Water Utilities in the Netherlands. Evides is actively supporting innovative water solution in Third World Countries. We are also very grateful for the support obtained by Aqua for All, the Dutch Water NGO to make this project financial feasible.
